根据 Yelp 数据团队的说法，这份年度榜单精选了全国范围内的一些最佳美食。 据该清单的作者法尔维（ Brenna Falvey）称，Yelp 接收了社区提交的数据， 然后，缩小了候选餐厅的名单，趋势专家最终确定了名单。
在 100 名家最佳餐厅中，多伦多以压倒性的20家脱颖而出；蒙特利尔有14家餐厅；温哥华排名第三，有11家餐厅入选。
多伦多市中心Queen St W的Chen Chen Nashville Hot Chicken排名第一，以其炸鸡三明治而闻名，很难找到一篇负评。
在多伦多内排名第二的是Grandma Loves You，是一家隐蔽的意大利式三明治店，排名第四，仅次于排第二的蒙特利尔Buvette Scott，及排第三的温哥华的黎巴嫩地中海美Manoush’eh。
而华人熟悉的云吞面餐馆大三元（ Big Trio Wonton Noodle）也挤身十大，成为全国最受欢迎美食之一。
