影片中可见，宾顿一栋独立屋的地下室出租，但租客没有缴交租金，业主盛怒下将租客的物品扔到前院。

据称业主向租客发出多次通知，但租客没有离开，导致业主决定自行解决，而非到业主及租客委员会处理。

多段视频显示，不少人冲入房屋支持业主，并发现屋内有成堆的酒瓶和财物。同时业主手持一把刀，威胁如果租客不肯离开便会伤害自己。
随着情况升级，皮尔区警方到场为目击者落口供，并要求与业主交谈。

据皮尔区警方表示，于9月9日星期六中午约12时15分接报，到达位于宾顿Levida Street夹Coachlight Crescent 地区。
警方与业主交谈，业主被指示需向业主及租客委员会寻求指示。
