法国巴黎圣母院2019年惨遭祝融，在大火中坍塌的尖顶将在今年年底回归原位，但圣母院仍无法在明年巴黎奥运之前全面重新开放。
法国文化部告诉法新社，巴黎圣母院（Notre Dame Cathedral）重建完工日期会在2024年底前。
一名发言人说：“重建工程进展顺利。”
当局先前预定12月8日，也就是圣母无原罪始胎日（Feast of the ImmaculateConception）这天作为可能的完工期限。
这意味这座建立于12世纪的大教堂，将无法迎接特地在2024年7月和8月前来巴黎参加奥运的选手和观赛游客。巴黎圣母院在火灾前，每年约有1200万名游客造访。
